She weighs as much as Dara does now, so that's probably part of it :) Love your posts (and you, of course :)) CarmenAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13049535.post-70823675308291470642007-11-22T23:21:00.000-05:002007-11-22T23:21:00.000-05:00Hey--looks like you feel about clothes-sorting the...Hey--looks like you feel about clothes-sorting the same way I feel about clothes-folding. I fold as fast as I can while the kids are napping, because if they are awake, I have destroyed piles.

As far as sorting their clothes goes, I have always enjoyed that. It's fun for me to go through their outfits and throw out or donate the stuff I've come to hate, or pack away the stuff I like. I love to see how my kids are growing.

Happy Thanksgiving, and hope you had a wonderful day!Cottonistahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15478364866100935339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13049535.post-52408727843886082262007-11-22T19:45:00.000-05:002007-11-22T19:45:00.000-05:00you are so funny carrie! I love the way you write ...you are so funny carrie! I love the way you write about "mommying"!

by the way, I put Alistair in the ergo in the back position when I do dishes etc. He's ok in it for a little while, then I have to do a little dance because, you know it't REALLY boring to just sit there with no "ride."
I agree that it seems like babies have to be introduced to slings/carriers early to really like them. Mine seems to prefer what you call the mommy perch the best. I don't know how you can still hold that big boy. Alistair is 6 months and 22lbs, and I'm already tired!

Krista (emily's sister)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13049535.post-22923137662065654892007-11-22T19:44:00.000-05:002007-11-22T19:44:00.000-05:00you are so funny carrie!
