This was of course a great delight all around, as Israel firmly states his desire to go to "Gamma's house" at least once a day. He believes every ride in the minivan should end at Grandma's.
Zion was a little suspicious of all being well with the world when we got there - he was a little clingy and not so sure about things. Including not wanting to go to sleep very easily at night, a pattern that continued throughout the week.
There were many golf-cart rides all around...
riding of the tricycles...
and the cars...
busy and important things to help Granddaddy with...
cuddling of the grandbaby...
garden tasks to accomplish...
Grandma bathing of the long haired hooligans...
football playing with the Grandma and Granddaddy...
close observation by the oh-so-helpful Maddie dog...
digging of the Grandma's flower beds by aspiring landscapers...
and good times on the swing.
Like to make a boy tuckered out.
Or at least lay down for a nap with Grandma. Under your cozy blanket. On the coffee table...
Virginia is just GORGEOUS in the summertime!!!
This field was covered with Queen Anne's Lace flowers. Beautiful!!
I also got to spend some time with my friend, Sylvia,
and her two adorable munckins while I was home. Vincent wasn't too sure about the whole concept of being set down... :)
A few more pictures...since I don't have enough or anything... ;)
Israel cheesing by his Uncle Quentin's play barn.
Snack time before bed...
I totally appreciated all the help, and not having to spend the week alone in the trenches!!! Thanks so much, Mom and Dad, for everything!

I love your pictures. The ones of Zion with your Dad are excellent! You should frame those! Also, I love seeing your Mom playing football in the yard. It looked like an excellent time!
I enjoyed all the pictures but loved the ones of Israel sleeping.
I love all of the photos. I also love how peaceful I feel when you share pics from your parents house. It just seems so relaxing!
Good move going to your parents. Taking care of three little boys by yourself is mucho work! On the rare occasion that Monica leaves and I have all 3 myself, I make the long, 250 feet trip next door to mom and dad's if they're home.
Thanks for sharing the VA pictures! Miss it so much! I also LOVED the ones of Zion and your Dad- perfect. (and of course my adorable nephews!) Candice
I feel it, too; the relief of going to your parents when Tim's not around. It's beautiful! There's no one to relate to grandkids like grandma and grandpa.
As usual, i love your virgnia pictures too. I love the pictures of your mom playing football with the boys. I hope the rest of your time without tim went quickly. Love you, Carmen
