Wibbit

Tonight Gabe was being a frog on the kitchen floor. Daddy picked the frog up and carried him off to bed. "Wibbit," said the frog as he traveled down the hall. "Wibbit." :) :) :)

Today Gabriel and his mommy had a shopping-intensive day, causing Gabriel to sleep the hard sleep of the zonkered:Apparently you don't need to be actually laying on the couch to sleep. This morning I found this child snuggled up on the rug in his room, once again out of his cozy bed onto the hard floor, fast asleep. Silliness.

Tonight Gabriel and Gabriel's Mommy traveled to Mallmart, where Gabriel got to sit in the Spiderman Car. He was pretty intrigued by Spiderman sitting next to him, and studied him intently, laying a gentle hand on his Spidey arm. Then he raced off to "drive" the boats.

Tonight Gabriel's Mommy bought Philadelphia Ready-To-Eat Chocolate Dream Cheesecake Filling for the irresistible price of $3.78, which she is currently eating straight out of the container with a table knife AS WE SPEAK. "Tasty", my friends, is not EVEN the word.

Sounds like Gabe likes Mallmart more than Owen (and me). Last time we were there, he unscrewed the lid from a bottle of school glue in the (non-Spidey) cart. We had to literally chase down a sales associate--picture me dashing, my two kids rattling around in the partially full cart, hollering "SIR! SIR!!" When we caught up with Sir, he lazily gestured to a fellow female sales associate, who was relaxedly passing away time, resting in a wheelchair that was supposed to be available for guests. Can we say "Clean up on aisle 4!"? She was terribly annoyed at having to move and clean up some child's sticky glue mess. I was completely and utterly embarrassed. We tried to high-tail it out of there, but we got hung up at the cash register when I used a ($10!) coupon for formula and the cashier didn't know how to handle that type of coupon, and her manager apparently didn't want to immediately intervene. Please, someone, remind me that this is not shopping at its finest!

Chocolate Dream Cheesecake Filling. Let's see, the first words that come to my mind would be, "calorie-laden". How's that?

Joyce - oh man, I thought Gabe banging his head on the floor in Old Navy was sort of embarrassing! How was that glue open? It seems like it should have had some kind of seal on it. By the way, good luck on trying to "high-tail" it out of a Mallmart, in my limited experience...

Angelina - Don't ask, don't tell. :) I'm pretty sure it was calorie free...

LaVonne - Thanks! I enjoyed it thoroughly!

Just had to laugh at that photo of Gabe. If only my daughter could sleep in all sorts of odd positions! If only I could do the same.
